Information on the Programs
Mite Travel: 8 and Under
Overview
This is where the fun really ramps up! Kids are skating, competing, and playing as a team against other towns, learning to work together with an emphasis on passing and game play. Each player gets a reversible Hingham Youth Hockey jersey with their name on the back. These travel teams face off against local squads from Braintree, Canton, Quincy, Weymouth, and more. Plus, we usually take 1–2 exciting tournaments each season—combining top-level New England competition with unforgettable trips to places like Cape Cod, Lake Placid, Waterville, and Jay Peak.
