About Us
Hingham Youth Hockey, a proud member of USA Hockey, is a town-based program dedicated to teaching and developing young athletes ages 5 to 16 in the sport of ice hockey.
Mission Statement
To foster a fun, positive, and competitive environment where young athletes develop hockey skills, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love for the game. We are committed to teaching teamwork, respect, and discipline while promoting community spirit and personal growth both on and off the ice.
What makes us special
At Hingham Youth Hockey, every child has a place—we don’t make cuts. No matter their skill level, your son or daughter will always be on a team with plenty of opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy the game.
While we emphasize inclusion, we’re also proud of our competitive tradition. Many of our teams and players compete at a high level, reflecting the strong development culture we’ve built over the years.
Our coaches are also parents, so we understand that family life comes first. We recognize that every child is different, and we’re committed to creating a positive, flexible environment for all players.
And while our coaches may be parents, many bring serious experience—including playing at the Division I, II, and III college levels, and even professionally. Your child will receive high-quality coaching from people who not only know the game, but also deeply care about the kids and the Hingham community.
